Qatar is one of the most cosmopolitan countries in the world. The country is home to over 100 nationalities. Since 2020, Qatar announced that expats and non-Qataris can invest in more freehold and leasehold properties in the country. 

There are no property taxes in Qatar.
Foreigners who own properties in Qatar are also granted permanent residency under the law. However,  they must remain in the country for 90 days each year.
